Terms and Conditions

These are the Luxe Quarter Terms and Conditions. We ask that all users read the T&C’s before using the Luxe Quarter website as it may affect their rights and liabilities. We ask that you take time to understand them before making a purchase via the website.

Please do not make a purchase if you are not in full agreement of our Terms and Conditions.

Purpose of the T&C’s

The company, Luxe Quarter has the aim to provide its customers with pre-owned designer clothing and accessories all over the world. We sell our items on the website (luxequarter.com) and will also sell on other well established platforms where we know you will receive exceptional service.

Our T&C’s apply to all users regardless of whether they have made a purchase with us or not.

  1. Buying

1.1 Placement of an order

All information regarding an item will be clearly stated in the item description. The prices will always be stated and the prices are not negotiable.

All items can be shipped worldwide unless clearly stated otherwise.

Shipping information can be read in the ‘About Us’ section on the website. These prices are also not negotiable.

1.2 Payment Terms

We currently only accept the methods of payment available on the website. These include debit and credit card payments: Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Electron, Maestro and MasterCard. We also accept PayPal payments and Apple Pay. To use PayPal, the buyer will need a PayPal account and will be bound by PayPal’s own T&C’s.

We ask users to email us if they wish to pay with a different method of payment so that we can decide whether we accept it.

1.3 Delivery and Shipping

Buyers will have to provide certain personal details when making their order but these details are only use for the purpose of the order. Please read section 2 for information on personal details.

Currently, Luxe Quarter uses Royal Mail for all delivery. If this to change, this section will be updated.

The shipping costs provided by Luxe Quarter include cost for the delivery provided by Royal Mail, the packaging time and any insurance costs.

Orders are sent out within 2 working days of the purchase. UK buyers will always receive their items within 1 week of their purchase. Purchases made outside of the UK must anticipate their delivery to take longer but will be sent their tracking reference via email so that they can check the delivery status throughout via the Royal Mail tracker.

Luxe Quarter will NOT be held responsible for lost parcels.

Luxe Quarter will NOT be held responsible for the customer's errors on their address. The order will be sent to the address on the order. Please contact us if you have made an error and if the order has not been dispatched, we may be able to change.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, Luxe Quarter Vintage will process a refund (not including shipping costs) within 21 days of receiving the item back.

1.4 Customs Charges

All our items are shipped from the UK therefore if you are receiving a parcel from outside the UK, you may be charged for customs costs. This cost is not a fee from Luxe Quarter and we cannot anticipate whether you will receive one or not. 

It is the buyer's responsibility to pay these charges.

EU Customs Charges

As of 1st January 2020, all shipments outside the UK (including the EU) may be subject to customs charges including Duty & VAT. The buyer will be made aware of these once the shipment has entered the recipient's country. It is the responsibility of the buyer to cover these costs.

1.5 Cancelling an order

We start processing orders as soon as they are placed. If you email us to cancel an order before it has been shipped, we will refund you but we take a 10% restocking fee. 

  1. Personal Data

When making a purchase with us, we do ask for your personal details including full name, address, mobile number and/or email address. This is purely for the purpose of your order. We only use your contact method once so that we can update you on your order progress. Once the item has safely arrived, your personal data will not be used again.

We will never use this data for marketing purposes.

We do offer an email marketing service but we clearly state the purpose of this before user enters any details. User can unsubscribe from this service at any time.

  1. Returns Policy

We do not offer returns. Sales are final due to the nature of vintage items being 1/1.

The buyer is only allowed a refund between the date of the sale and up to 14 days after receiving the item/s if an item is significantly not as described. 

It is the buyer's responsibility to check measurements, sizing and condition.

If the item is significantly not as described, the buyer must first contact Luxe Quarter to apply for a refund. 

The buyer MUST cover postage costs and the postage must be tracked.

The buyer must send the return back within 7 days of notifying Luxe Quarter of the return.

The buyer will receive a full refund for the item and original postage cost within 14 days of us receiving the item. The item will be inspected upon return.

If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, Luxe Quarter Vintage will process a refund (not including shipping costs) within 21 days of receiving the item back.

Item must be unused since the date of purchase.

Refunds via PayPal:

If the original transaction was made via PayPal, please be aware that you will be refunded excluding the PayPal fees which PayPal take.

All images, text and video on the website belong to Luxe Quarter. Reproducing any of this is strictly prohibited.

We ask that anybody who wishes to repost images / text by Luxe Quarter quotes the website.
